| Give me food, or get off my beach!
ORMOND BEACH, FL -- Prince Charming and I have spent a few pleasant hours at the beach lately, thanks to some fine winter weather. In my 20s, when I worked the night shift, I rode my bike to the beach most mornings, but over the years I got out of the habit.
One day last week we set up our beach chairs and settled in with our e-readers. But the soothing surf-sounds were soon, and often, overruled by the raucous ranting of a gull, who kept walking near us and hollering about something.
At least he came close enough for me to get a good picture.
