YOSEMITE, CA -- We rounded a curve on our way into Yosemite Thursday morning and found ourselves in another era.
We never did get a good enough look at this car to figure out its make, but in spite of its obvious age, it was moving right along on a steep and twisting mountain road.
Since we arrived yesterday we've been struggling to get through paperwork and an orientation program required of all new employees. At least that part of the process seems shorter than it was at Denali last summer.
The weather's great, if a bit warm, and we have the weekend off, so we will be able to get in a hike, maybe two, before reporting to work again Monday.
