| Friday's backyard visitor
ORMOND BEACH, FL -- We hear hawks all the time in our neighborhood, and see them regularly too. Rarely, though, do we get as perfect a photographic opportunity as this one.
This is a red-shouldered hawk, perched on a dead limb of one of my tall magnolia trees. He stayed there until I got tired of watching him and taking his picture.
