Copyright 2006 Lydia HinshawORMOND BEACH, FL -- Even with a decent-sized display on the back of my digital camera, I sometimes don't realize what I've got until I get it into my computer.
Wednesday morning, I shot my ritual half-dozen frames of Double Knee-kill, my favorite snowy egret. I didn't expect much, and was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded the photos this afternoon.
The oil-painting effect is the early morning sky reflected in the Halifax River.
I must have shot 1,000 frames of this bird over the past two years, and most of I've deleted. This one, however, goes in my keeper file.
