Rest stop in UFO countryRACHEL, NV -- Prince Charming's collection of Area 51 stickers has been growing faded, so we planned our route through Nevada to visit Rachel Friday.
Rachel, population about 100, is the closest "town" to Area 51, a supposed prime landing spot for visitors from other galaxies.
To get there, you travel a long, straight, desolate road called the Extraterrestrial Highway. We'd been here once before, about four years ago, and the place hasn't changed at all.
Having replenished his supply of memorabilia, we had a picnic lunch and continued on to my brother's and sister-in-law's house in Tonopah.
