CODY, WY -- They're really bison, not buffalo, but then "bison" doesn't have enough syllables to fit into the famous song.
Many bison were out Tuesday morning as we drove through Yellowstone National Park one more time, on another beautiful and unseasonably warm day. For the first time this trip, we saw a real herd, parents and children, grazing just beside the road. They paid no attention to the tourists who stopped to watch and photograph them.
In Cody Tuesday afternoon, I made a pilgrimage to a laundromat while Prince Charming visited a car-wash to get rid of several weeks' worth of dust. The car looks much better and so do we.
