GLEN MARGARET, NS -- Tuesday afternoon the sun finally appeared and it was actually warm enough for shorts for an hour or two.
We found a nice, small campground and got a site right next to the water. Mallard ducks frolicked in our front yard. Prince Charming broke out his camp chair and quickly turned into Sleeping Beauty.
The missing clouds had their price. Tuesday night was the coldest we've had; my tiny zipper-pull thermometer registered only 40 degrees inside the van Wednesday morning.
