TANTALLON, N.S. -- A new hardship of camping trips: Those times when you can't find wi-fi, can't find an electric plug or can't find both at the same time.
We've camped two nights without either. Monday, we took a ferry from Bar Harbor, ME, to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The ferry, named The Cat, is a giant, high-speed, spaceship of a boat, able to carry 775 passengers plus 250 cars. It was so big I could never find a way to take a good picture of it. There was always something else blocking part of it.
The weather remained gloomy, but we did get some pictures during the three-hour, 100-mile crossing into Canada.
