OCEAN SPRINGS, MS -- The past two days we've looked at a lot of woods, a lot of cotton fields, a lot of cows, but not many wi-fi hot-spots.
We are perhaps 540 miles from home, staying at the same Gulf Islands National Seashore campground where we spent the first night of our trip nearly six months ago.
We've already celebrated our return to the South with four straight barbecue lunches in four states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi.
We are road-weary and could make it home Saturday, but our house-sitters aren't scheduled to leave until Sunday morning, so we will take it slow and easy and see some sights in the Florida panhandle.
