NEWPORT, OR -- Saturday morning we revisited Yaquina Head, a spot for viewing marine birds and animals. We'd been there Friday only to stare at the drifting gray curtain of an Oregon fog.
There was a bit of sun on our return trip, and we got to see this harbor seal, who was dozing on a rock, while occasionally awakening for a yawn and stretch, and a look at a much smaller seal that was swimming around, but but never straying far from the rock.
Neither of the seals were talking, but I'm guessing the little guy was staying close to mom.
