Angel's Window: Note hole in the rock in the center of photo
A river runs through itNORTH RIM, AZ -- Three days without wi-fi are just part of the experience here. Rumor spread Thursday that wi-fi was available again at the general store, and here we are.
Monday's travels took us down a couple of back roads in our neighborhood. Both dead-end at the canyon. The top photo is an overall view of Angel's Window, a hole in the rock underneath a trail that leads to an observation point in an area called Cape Royal.
A bit farther down, we got a view of the Colorado River through the window. It's the first view we've had of the river from the North Rim, although we've seen the river on the Navajo Bridge, between here and Page.
