LEE'S FERRY, AZ -- A co-worker and I drove to Page, AZ, Thursday to retrieve one of the company vans, which had been in the shop there.
On the way, we stopped to walk out on the Navajo Bridge to see if we could spot any of the California condors known to hang out in the area. No luck, again. I've stopped here a number of times to look for the giant birds, but they seem to know when I'll be there and they make a point of being somewhere else at those times.
But the scenery as usual was worth a picture, or a thousand of them.
This was shot facing north toward Page, with the river route to the Grand Canyon behind me.
