Lions' share? The whole dock!

NEWPORT, OR -- These sea lions were entertaining tourists in Newport when we stopped for lunch one day last week.
While this bunch sunned themselves, several others swam around, trying to sneak into a spot on the dock.
Fat chance. This was a king-of-the-hill situation and the guys on the hill weren't going to let anybody else up there.
The fellow at left was the head honcho. He had a large stretch of dock to himself and was rebuffing prospective trespassers with much barking and nipping.
