SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA -- We've been in California for three days now, but I'm still finding Oregon photos I like. This one was shot late in the afternoon from the harbor at Port Orford.
Although the wind was blowing something fierce most places that evening, this piece of water was flat calm, sheltered by a headland to the north.
Shortly after shooting this picture, we went out for dinner at a restaurant called The Crazy Norwegian's. The name alone was enough to get us in the door. So far as we could tell, there was nothing Norwegian on the menu, and also nothing crazy. There were Mexican and Cajun entrees, plus the usual seafood and burgers, plus excellent homemade pies.
