CAPE PERPETUA, OR -- Even on a calm day, the Pacific hammers hard at the coast here, hitting the wall at the end of narrow dead-end channels and firing vapor-clouds through blowholes.
Storms here must be something to see, but we were happy enough to spend the day hiking around the cape in perfect weather.
